“Beach Picnic”
6" x 6" tiles
The clients had just moved into a new beach front condo and wanted to bring the outside
in. They suggested shells, I suggested shells in context with the kitchen environment –
and the beach picnic idea was born, complete with seagulls! She wanted to introduce many
shades of blue, her favorite color. I saw table cloths and napkins as the perfect

"Tropical Fruit Still Life"

This piece was produced for a kitchen application in Florida. The client requested a
fruit and floral design that would reflect the local produce and add color to the simple
design in the kitchen.

"Shore Birds Breakfast Bar Mural and Backsplash"
6" x 6" tiles
Both the kitchen and dining room in this waterfront home overlook the intercoastal
waterway in southwest Florida. The client requested that Patricia draw inspiration
from the shore birds and landscape outside her windows. She made a special request

Details:
"Tropical Foliage"
6" x 6" tiles
Tropical foliage is a much requested theme in the south Florida area. Patricia has produced many
pieces using this theme. Clients may request a true green / turquoise on white tile or olive tones
on parchment background. If you'd like additional color, your favorite gingers, heliconia flowers
and/or birds of paradise can be added for accent.

"Fisherman's Kitchen"
6" x 6" tiles
This backsplash was created with both the husbands and wife's input. She collected
decorative Talavera pottery and he liked to fish. Both enjoyed cooking and inviting
friends over to enjoy gourmet meals.

"Far East Influence"

Baskets of mango, pomegranetes and bamboo grace the backsplash in this client's unique home.
A parrot attempts to land on a bowl of kiwi fruit in front of a stained glass mosiac window.
The artist used her own antique coffee pot and grinder as props. The client's antique teak
wood kitchen cabinets, brought back from a trip to India inspired the design. The artist was
given free reign in the development of this piece. Click for another view.

Details:
“Cook’s Grotto”
6" x 6" tiles
This piece was designed for a large kitchen with multiple prep areas. The artwork on
each panel represents the ingredients for that course of the meal, complete with a hand
painted recipe card necessary for preparing it. The first panel is the Shrimp Cocktail
Appetizer Panel, complete with cocktail recipe. The central panel is the large cook’s
grotto area where a bouillabaisse is being prepared. The 3rd panel, a salad is being
prepared with a salad dressing recipe. The final panel, a dessert of figs with

"Lobster Feast"
The client’s asked Patricia to design a backsplash for their kitchen using an
image that they had brought her; the toasting lobsters. The kitchen was all
white and they wanted to add some life and color to the small kitchen.

Details:
"Captiva Cottages"
Kitchen Soffit Area - 6 x 6 tiles
The client had found Patricia through an article in Southern Living magazine.
They were building a new home on a waterfront lot on Captiva Island, that came
with an old historic cottage that they were trying to preserve and restore.
The client dreamed of a kitchen with hand-painted tile panels surrounding the
soffit area. Together she and Patricia came up with the idea of depicting some
of the other historical cottages on the island.
